Jason Auton

Director / Relationship Manager

Jason started his working life with Woolworths, progressing his way from the shop floor to become a National Business Manager in Sydney, over his eleven years with the retailer.

 

Post his time at Woolworths, Jason has worked as a National Buyer for Terry White Chemist, a State Buyer for Metcash, before moving to the supplier side, where he has spent the past 16 years working with both domestic and international brands, developing and implementing strategies to deliver successful outcomes for his partners

 

Jason's skill set extends across all aspects of FMCG having real-world, hands-on experience from his time in stores, various support functions in Woolworths, National Buying, National Account Management, Sales Director responsibilities and running his own consulting business over the past 3 years

Hugh Robertson

Director / Relationship Manager

Hugh started his career on the shop floor with Jack The Slasher, which by acquisition became Safeway and then ultimately Woolworths. Hugh held a number of store management roles before moving to State Office where he was appointed State Inventory Manager

 

Hugh then joined SC Johnson as a National Account Manager, where he honed his sales and Account Management Skills, looking after the Woolworths and Metcash accounts. After four successful years in sales, he sought a new direction and was appointed as a Category Manager for Metcash Queensland, where he later became the Senior Buyer, holding commercial responsibility for the buying functions in the state

 

In 2008 Hugh joined the Sales Link business as a Partner and Owner, successfully managing a large portfolio of partners over the next 10 years

Neil Bidwell

Director / Relationship Manager

Neil started his career in Coles, holding various store management positions before quickly ascending into National Buying, finishing with Coles, eleven years later as the Business Manager for tea, coffee and milk additives

 

Using the knowledge gained, Neil took up a role with Mrs Crocket's Kitchen as the National Account Manager for Coles, before being appointed Sales Director in 2006. Neil then moved across to Freedom Foods 2 years later. In 2010 Neil joined Sales Link as a Owner and Partner and was a key driver of growth for that business during his tenure

 

In 2017, Neil took up the opportunity to become the Business Manager for Premier Foods, a large-scale multi-national brand based in the UK, before expanding his own consulting business in 2021

Melody Bidwell

Business Operations and Marketing Manager

Melody began her Sales and Marketing career with Compaq computers whilst living in the UK. When Melody returned home to Australia, she was appointed into Sales Support, then to Product Management within Novartis Consumer Health Australasia before moving to Tassal Group where she was the Trade Marketing Manager for over 6 years

 

In 2009 Melody joined Sales Link where she was appointed to the role of Sales Support Specialist and quickly established herself as a high performing team member. Having acquired vast knowledge in all aspects of Account Management and support, in 2015 Melody took up a position in Sales Support & Trade Marketing with Yarra Valley Snacks Foods

 

Melody has an eye for detail with a unique understanding of retailers, retailer systems, Account Managers and everything they will need to be successful
